AEL Alamo Consortium
ESC-20 serves as the AEL Grant Recipient for the Alamo area.
Grant funded by Texas Workforce Commission with both Federal and State dollars
Bexar and 11 surrounding counties (matches WSA Board Area). Counties included: Bexar, Atascosa, Bandera, Comal, Frio, Gillespie, Guadalupe, Karnes, Kendall, Kerr, Medina and Wilson.
The AEL Alamo Consortium supports 8 service providers focused on educating and preparing students to succeed in postsecondary and the workforce.
The Service Providers that make up the Alamo Consortium are:

• Each One Teach One
• Alamo Colleges
• Northeast ISD
• Northside ISD
• San Antonio ISD
• Southwest Texas Junior College
To support increases in employment, postsecondary education and
training transition, skill gains, and secondary completion through demonstrated
approaches that integrate system services and leverage community partnerships.
